I have an EZ Laminator, which is an inexpensive hand cranked cold laminator. I think the maker is or was Dymo, though I know Xyron makes one that is similar and I think it might also double as a sticker maker. It's very easy to use, so easy that I let the kids use it for their various projects. I didn't realize how many uses I would find for mine, and I think it has been a wonderful investment (along with the all-in-one printer/scanner/copier).

Thanks Valerie - I will check out Michaels - I believe that they do the Xyron 900 which I think is similar to yours - I have looked at getting a laminator for years as I think it would be so useful.

I am thinking about getting one, too.
It's funny, because I never would have thought I would be interested in a laminator because it seemed so "schoolish." But now that I am making more Montessori-type cards and things for dd I am thinking it would be great to have one!
Funny how things change!

I have the Xyron 900 - which does lamination, sticker making, magnet making. I originally bought it at Michael's, but then returned it, because I found a website that I could get it at for MUCH cheaper and with more cartridges. I absolutely LOVE this laminator!

Cindy,
That looks like a great deal. I may get one of those. Is it easy to operate?

SOOOO easy! The cartridges just pop in and out, and the actual rolling the item through the machine is just plain fun !

Cindy - I got my Xyron 900 this weekend and I am having problems getting started - it came with the adhesive cartridge loaded. I put in a piece of paper to make into a sticker and it never came out - the cartridge seems all stuck. Any tips?
Thanks

OK - I managed to set up the laminator - mine was defective and they exchanged it no problem. We have tried it out - my question is how to avoid bubbles/wrinkles when laminating or doing stickers? Any tips for a "smooth" end product?
Thanks
