Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

1. How many children are you homeschooling (not including babies and toddlers)?

2. And how many different levels/grades?

Thank you so much for taking a moment to respond!

Just two students right now, age wise 1st grade (although working more like 3rd) and 3rd grade (working more like 2nd). I'm lucky I can teach (or at least review) much at the same time because of this.

ETA: I'm noticing that people are including their preschoolers, and feel guilty that I left her out (I'm in denial, lol). So add in one preschooler (3) that demands school like her sisters and can do K level work (tho I'm not pushing)

Nina,
This year three children:

4th (9 yo)
3rd (7yo)
1st (6yo)

Nothing formal with the 4 or 2 year old, just lots of read alouds, coloring, educational games and activities while big brothers are doing their lessons.

Blessings,

Three this year also. Ages 14, 13, and 12 all working together except math; we decided it is MUCH easier to just combine everything. Sam and Jack are too young yet.

In the past I have had up to 5 homeschooled at the same time and all working at different levels.

Blessings,
Krisann

Four kids at these levels:
7th (12)
5th (10)
2nd (7.5)
K (5)
Pre-K (3.5)
The K and Pre-K are really light, though, so I consider that equal to "teaching" one child.

Three. Plus homework .

11th (16)
7th (nearly 13)
5th (10)

...and endless homework with Trip, grade 9, age 14.

Hey, when I was told that I had a CCD class of 10 (now 11), I was elated. "I always wanted 10 kids!" they asked if I were crazy. .

4.

15 - 9th-10th grade
10 - 4th-5th grade
7 - 2nd-3rd grade
4 - preschool

they're "in-betweeners", some subjects they're a bit behind, others they're a bit advanced, it all evens out:D
