Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Hello,
I was wondering if any of you have used/compared BeyondFIAR and Prairie Primer?
As far as difficulty and mom's work getting it all together?
I am afraid I will get worn out and just want to quit it and switch in the middle of the year to simpler curriculum.
I don't want to disappoint two gunho boys K and 5th.
But I think FIAR my be easier on me.
Any thoughts or input, Ladies??

THanks
Regina

Prairie Primer is pretty full. We're planning to use it next year. I used it one year with our older boys, who are both going to be in high school next year. Our daughter then was in 1st grade, and doesn't even remember doing The Prairie Primer, so we want to use it while she's in 6th grade, so she can get as much out of it as possible. We're both excited about it. But I can't imagine using it along with something else! It's quite full as it is.

Just my thoughts right now.

I have to concur with Tracy with an empahsis on FULL!

As another option have you seen Lissa's wonderful unit studies that go-along with her books? scroll to the right side bar (I think) and look for Little House Units: The Martha Years and The Charlotte Years!! They are so fun and interesting too!! Just my .02

I enjoyed the prairie primer so much that I might buy the others too, esp. FUFI.

The guide is very full, but you don't have to do everything to get your money's worth.

Even if you don't "do" the guide, it's well worth buying just for the information and fun activities.
