Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I have been studying, yes, studying, Elizabeth's book list and I have a few questions.

I have a three that are "school age", K, 1st & 3rd. Do I gather the books for each grade level & start?

Is that too many books to have going all at once?

Do I combine everyone & start at the beginning?

I appreciate your patience with all my question

If I were you, I'd gather them all, start wherever in the Primary lists suits your fancy and do it all together. Then, choose read-aloud chapter book for you to read to them (it could go with the theme of the primary books or not--a saint's book, for instance) and let your third grader choose something from the Elementary lists to read on her own (again, along the same theme or not).

Thank You Elizabeth

I feel like I found you just in time. I would not have wanted to miss all the great primary & elementary books because we started once the children were too old.

I felt the same way when I first found this wonderful resource! But now I remind myself that, although I missed the boat a bit with ds, I do have dd coming up next year! I can start right from the beginning with her! Plus, ds always likes to sit in and listen to her read-alouds, anyway.

I want to thank you also, Elizabeth. Your work has been, and continues to be, such a blessing to our homeschool.
