I am a HUGE podcast listener, and wanted to find out if any of you fine ladies are listening as well, and if so, what some of your favorites are? Also, if you do use them, how do you incorporate them into your day?
We generally listen in the car, or sometimes over lunch. And, I listen to my stuff while nursing the baby.
Here is what I (and the children) end up listening to:
--Music
Classics for Kids
--Science
RadioLab (certain episodes - I prescreen, as there can be non-child-friendly content)
--Literature
StoryNory
Libravox
Kara's Free Audiobooks
--Catholic content/teaching
Catholic Answers Live
Catholic Laboratory
Jimmy Akin Podcast
There are also loads of great Catholic parenting/living the faith ones out there, as well that I love.

The Concert -a bi-monthly podcast generally consisting of a small amount of music history and lots of music. There are over 200 Podcasts archived at their homepage.

I'm only now discovering podcasts with my iPhone and really loving them. Right now I use them every day for prayer: USCCB has the Mass reading for the day, and there is also the Divine Office that I listen to regularly.

ekbell - thank you! I subscribed to The Concert and will listen to it this weekend! That looks like a good companion to "Classics for Kids". I can search for relevant episodes based on who we are learning about.
Jennifer, we love the USCCB readings! My husband listens to them on the way to work along with another of our favs, Daily Bread, by the late Fr. Al Lauer. He always lights a fire whenever I hear his voice. We sometimes listen as a family (if we are not reading ourselves) and will occasionally catch the reflections they have online, too (at USCCB).
I know there must be some other hidden treasures out there yet to be discovered, and so many new every day!

I think I have mentioned this before:
Catholic Stuff You Should Know
There are only a few of the podcasts on the website currently. The older archived ones can be found on iTunes.
It's a podcast done by a couple priests and seminarians in our diocese - it alternates between who is doing it. It is light-hearted as well as educational. The two hosts rib each other and there is a lot of humorous banter as they discuss the topic. But they cover deep topics and the theology is so good. We really enjoy the podcasts - though sometimes I wonder if we enjoy it so much because we know these guys personally and it is so much how they are. They cover really interesting topics - sometimes common topics like Lent, but often obscure topics like Stylites.
They are up for an award on About.com as best Catholic podcast. This is the summary there of the podcast:
Billing itself as a "lighthearted exploration of various prominent and obscure Catholic topics," Catholic Stuff You Should Know is an eclectic blend of history, doctrine, biography, and current events.

The Smithsonian Institute offers educational podcasts on topics related to the museum's collections. I'd preview these--but there might be some interesting choices there. The world music podcasts look interesting, as well as the silk road folk tales.

I love The Age of Persuasion. It is a CBC show about marketing. Marketing is definitely not even a vague interest of mine normally, but this show is so interesting.
