As I was searching for more info for a project I ran across this site which I thought some people might enjoy. There are tons of activity and activity ideas and information. I was specifically looking for our bee project so I found the bee body labeled (and fill ins) and info about Utah (the beehive state). But they have literally tons of interesting info. Of course with anything we have to pick and choose.
Anyway, thought I'd share:

I think if you want to do most of the printables you have to become a member $20/year. But there is alot of info that you can find without a membership as well.

I have been a member for a while now and it is totally worth $20. We use it all the time. The nursery rhyme section is useful to keep little ones busy.
Enjoy

We started out just using the accessible, non-member stuff. But then I realized how easy it is to print if you're a member -- and $20 for the equivalent of all kind of (dare I say it ) workbook pages is great for filling in the gaps. Sometimes the kids enjoy sitting and doing the letter pages or coloring.
We've also really enjoyed it when we do FIAR or Unit Studies -- like when we did Chinese New Year, there was a wealth of info from this one site.
Blessings,

They have a wonderful selection of information about states and lots of maps, musical notation... We are just starting Spanish and they have many pages in Spanish and well, I think they have just about everything. Sure would be nice if there was a Catholic website to run along side this one! Any interested takers on a project?!
My littles really like pictures to color (scribble) and counting pages and such and I can't even begin to tell you how many books they "used up" all in one day!

Oh, wouldn't that just be amazing!?!?!?
We also are members of Enchanted Learning. I consider it a very worthwhile and important part of our curriculum every year. It's just been a HUGE blessing for us, and we use it often.
I love that I can use it for my kids, even though they're getting older...that they have varied levels of material.
This is also good for lapbooking and notebooking....very easy to cut up the printed pictures, etc. if you want!

Could someone tell me if this site's material is useful for toddlers, age 2? I don't want to subscribe if it's over his head.

Hmmm...I like this idea. Maybe I'll be that "taker". I'll have to mull that idea over.

Personally, I wouldn't subscribe for a 2yo. Much of the site is available free, so you can search the site and see what you think. We use it for worksheets, diagrams and simple activity books for the older kids. Sometimes I print things out for my 3 and 4 yos.

Thanks, Janette, for your input.
Would anyone have suggestions for coloring pages for a young 2 year old? I have Jim Arnosky's coloring pages which he loves...but I'm looking for a bit more.

Jenn,
I think my daughter is the Queen of Coloring, so I've looked for lots of pages for her!
If you search by the object/animal you want to color, you can find all kinds of stuff. For great general coloring pages, try www.coloring.ws, and then link from their home page to their sister sites, such as http://www.dltk-kids.com/coloring.htm.
Some of the DLTK sites' crafts are easy enough for 2-year-olds, too! (You print out parts, they color them and glue them, for example. Check it out!)
HTH,
