Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I will make this brief (really!). I am due with my 5th baby in the beginning of September. (Fourth girl in a row, Alina Rose)
I wanted to use the American History Path on Serendipity with my 2nd grader and my preschooler. How realistic is that?? My older two children will be working independently. I intend to take off at least a month when the baby comes. After this, how intensive does this have to be? Does anyone just use the booklist and a few suggestions, or is it better to do the whole thing? Is this a total curriculum, if you add math?
In other words, HELP!! I need suggestions and advice from other moms of more than a few!

In Christ,

Leocea

I don't have time now to do this question justice. All I can say is we DID this *and* we wrote it this year. I had a high risk pregnancy and c-section and preemie last fall. I've got eight kids at home. the Serendipity history can and has been done during a crisis year. In a big way.

It's detailed at the beginning which gives you a really solid start. I'd start in late July or August if I were you. Then, it gets much less detailed--an honest reflection of the way we were doing it.
