Really, Jodie???? So, if in the future the dates work out, you'd think about making the trek???

I wonder if Meredith will come, now that she's not-so-very-far-away. I hope so!

well we have friends in WA (just about any general area but some it looks not too horribly far from there) that we'd love to visit.. so it's entirely possible.. we're only about 8 hrs away.. after driving from Tucson AZ to Northern CA to visit family (min. 12 hrs).. 8 hrs isn't bad at all.
I mean.. anything like that that would happen in OR would be in Portland.. so it's not all that much further to go into WA
And May is nice weather for traveling and even early enough that dh could stand a decent chance at getting time off.
But the first weekend of May is FHC here... and well you can see from my lineup that at best I'd only be available every other year

I did not go last year; I was shooting a wedding that weekend. But I'm determined to go this year because there is RARELY anything like this in the NW. It seems that all the great Catholic or homeschooling conferences are in the midwest or east... or at best in CA. So to have a conference that is geared toward BOTH my loves... Catholic AND homeschooling... well I can't pass that up!

I'll be there too. I went last year. It was my first year. Looking forward to seeing you all. This year I am going to try going both days.
Anyone know when the speakers schedule will be announced?

I hope to be going too. How weird if we all go and never run into eachother! Maybe we should wear signs..."4Real Members" or something? LOL

Did you all see that the conference registration fee until the end of March is reduced to $25?? In honor of St. Joseph, patron saint of the conference!!! No matter how many days and if 1 or 2 of you are going!!!
Is everyone still planning on attending?
And..... we should also get to see Meredith's new book.... "Mondays with Mary"!!

Ah, man. I'm not going to be able to come after all. I'm so disappointed. Our May schedule got out of hand, and it's just not going to work out this year...again. Totally bummed.
Everyone else- have a great time- and I want to hear all about it!

Bummer! I'll be sure to take notes. I don't think anyone is recording the presentations, unfortunately.
I'll be at the used curriculum sale table in the morning if anyone wants to say hello. :)
I'm really looking forward to going both days this time. Hope you can come next year!

Me too!-- this means we will have to arrange to meet sometime soon.
I'm so so so so bummed I can't come!
But do look for my dear friend Meghan (here she's Kunzlcampmama). She's tall with short dark hair and will have a sweet little baby girl in tow.
ETA: Oh! And Jessica from Shower of Roses will be there too, I hear.

If I had time, I would make buttons that said:
Hi! I'm LeeAnn!
You might know me from...
4Real Forums
Latin-Centered Curriculum Yahoo Group
Mater Amabilis Yahoo Group
OLOG Yahoo Group
Apostle to Suburbia blog
...hmm, getting a bit long there! That nametag might take up half my shirt!
Suzanne, you are ahead of me! I haven't yet figured out lunch yet and it's after 11 pm! I am just bringing my oldest (11yo) though--she *swears* she won't be bored. We'll see. At least she'll get some Mommy-time away from the others. But she saw that Math-U-See will be there and that I'm picking up next year's order!
ha ha ha
There's going to be some kind of cooking demo during lunch--should be fun!
See you ladies bright and early tomorrow~

Good job with the used curriculum sale, LeeAnn!!!
Sara - I met Meghan and her yummy little babe! She sat right in front of us!!
And, Jessica was there! I was so surprised! I didn't know she was driving up.
I practically accosted the poor gal sitting next to me....she had a Mater Amabilis print out....so, to me that meant....."I love Charlotte Mason....talk to me!" So, I did.
Meredith did a GREAT job, and I was excited to see her book!!!
