Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

At the Unschooling Catholcs blog we are compiling lists of books and movies with an unschooly feel. Ones that show children learning outside school. Loving learning. If you have any suggestions, feel free to add them here or pop over to the blog and add to the list there.

Thank you!

My husband loves this movie called "blast from the past." Rather complicated plot but the main character was isolated from society and homeschooled in a very positive way. When he "re-enters" society it's a shocker on both sides, but let's just say he has a life changing impact on those he mieets. We just watched it with the kids the other night.
