My stash of Bare Books is almost gone. I'm thinking of switching to one of the main lesson books that the Waldorf sites sell. Which ones do you like and would you recommend?

I really like these books. Very sturdy and high quality paper. I also bought some from Papers, Scissors, Stone that I did not like nearly as much.

I like the look of those, too, Molly. And they seem reasonably priced.

They are really high quality. My children love them. They are just perfect for colored pencils or crayons.
I went cheaper the second time and bought from the other store. My kids don't like to use them as much. Lesson learned!

Thanks for the recommendation, Molly. I was happy with my other order with them, so I'll give those a try.

I had looked at those as well. I'm glad to know that you liked them, Molly.
Has anyone used the handwriting book?

I had posted before about paper scrapbooks, but think what I am really looking for is a main lesson book.
So, I thought I would revive this thread to see favorite places to buy them.
Are they normally think enough that you can also glue projects not completed in the book in them? (I'm thinking lapbook components)

What makes a Main Lesson Book better than a Bare Book? I've not used either so I'm clueless. I would like to use something for this coming year though. We've always used binders for our notebooks but I'm trying to add more beauty into our day. The paper scrap book idea sounds kind of neat too.
