Susan,
I did a search and replace and put the new code in and updated my sidebar. Now, it looks weird--the box doesn't fit. What did I do wrong? What should it look like?
ETA: I still can't get it to work. When I click on the box in my blog it takes me back to the Definitive 4Real Blogroll post. That's pretty cool. But there's nothing in the box now.

note that the forum does not allow anyone to post long, unbroken strings of text, so it has inserted a space before ".jpg" in the img tag and it broke the source URL for the script tag into 2 parts with a space.

I think I must be a dope. I figured out how to get rid of the space by the jpg, but have no clue where to take the other space out.

Hi Erin, I checked out your blog - it should have a list of blogs under the picture. I'm guessing that you haven't removed the extra space in the script code, the part that starts

There is an extra space between the f and a that must be removed.
