Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Do you all follow the CM advice on short lessons? If so, how long are they and at what ages? I really like the idea of short lessons but with a large family I don't seem to be able to do it. For example, if I am reading aloud a Bible story, I find it hard to read it and then listen to everyone's narration and/or take their dictation and let them illustrate it in 20 minutes for 2 or 3 dc. I do break this up over 2 days but if we take a whole week to read one Bible story, we won't get very far in a year.
