Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I wasn't sure whether to post this in "Loving the Littles" or "Montessori", so I defaulted to here...

If you enjoyed the "Did Miss Mason know about toddlers?" post, you simply MUST read this.

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this Blog Entry by Elizabeth, and all of the following entries about preschoolers. Rebecca also has some great Montessori entries on her Blog.

Elizabeth, the glimpse into your life with littles and bigs together was truly eye-opening. Thank you so much. I do attribute most of my frustration to moments of not being "present" with my children, even when I am home. Its a contant, conscious decision, and I thank you for so clearly identifying this.

I wanted to share these entries with friends on this board who may benefit from the wisdom. Also, if there are others with additional ideas, particularly for toddler/preschool stay-and-play mat activities, please, share your blogs or web links with us.

Thanks for your kind words, Shawna. I think those posts might be my very favorites. I love preschool-aged children!

The link Shawna provided was to the entire series. You might want to read from the bottom post up.

I want to thank you, too, Shawna. I had read Elizabeth's posts a while back, but had not seen most of Rebecca's (who is one of my favorite bloggers, too!). What a wealth of information!
