Can anyone recommend a worthwhile homeschool conference in Northern CA? Anywhere Bay Area and north would be fine. I need to log in some professional development hours in order to renew my credential. I should ask my supervisor if I may count my hours spent reading and posting on Real Learning! Truly, this forum has done more to develop my vocation as a mother and teacher than ANY college course!

I think the MUS guy is one of the key speakers.

Homeschool Association of California
I think there is a link for the 2007 Conference.
August 16-17
Sacramento
(ETA - It says 'page not found' but there is another link on that page that takes you to the conference information.)

Hope that helps. I'll ask a friend tomorrow at piano if she knows of others. She usually goes to the CHN one but it is in Ontario (Southern Cal.).

Thanks Erica! Have you been to either of these? Wouldn't it be great to have a Charlotte Mason conference in Northern Cal? Those North Carolina homeschooling moms are SO lucky!
