Hi all,
My baby, my first born, turns 17 today.
I am having a hard time wrapping my mind around it.
Anyway -- she was in a band competition. They just
put some pics up online - these two are of her. Take a look if you
get a chance. After her years of struggles with kidney issues, and
really, no end in sight anytime soon, I am just so proud of her for
sticking with it.

Awesome!
I, too, was in the marching band in HS. We got to travel lots and I really enjoyed it.
Congratulations to you and your dd!
And Happy Birthday to her (even if I am 5 hours late).

That is awesome! My dd, who also turns 17 in a couple of weeks (impossible!), was also just in a band competition! And her uniform looks strikingly similar to your daughters!
