Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Hi all:

I'm having a bear of a time trying to find pictures for my children to color of New Zealand native life. I found some at Enchanted Learning, and even National Geographic, but I can't seem to print them. Very frustrating. I don't see any Dover coloring books out there. Help?!?

I would also like any recommendation on sites. I've found a few, but would like to have lots on hand. Thanks!

DLTK-kids has a page with animals from Australia and New Zealand.

Why can't you print out the pages at Enchanted Learning? If you search for New Zealand, you can click on any of the animals listed, then highlight and copy what you want and paste the picture and text into Word or Paint and print from there. You can also hover over the picture and right click with your mouse then select "print picture" and print it out that way.

It was the strangest thing ... I couldn't print anything and then I copied (on the same machine) some math tests for my kids and the things I had been trying to print all morning appeared! This printer has a mind all its own.

Thanks for the kiwi picture. This kiwi is much cuter than the one on the Enchanted Learning site.

God bless,

It's not a coloring page, but there's a book to recommend from Bethlehem Books that takes place in New Zealand. It is called "The Drovers Road" collection, a collection of three adventures set in New Zealand. I think there's another one, too, called something like the "Weka Feather Cloak" or something along those lines-also published by Bethlehem Books. I *think* it takes place in NZ, too. My kids liked them both pretty well.

Did you try the 'images' feature on your search engine? I just typed in "kiwi + colouring in" then clicked on the 'images' button and found some nice pics to print I imagine it would work if you try animal by animal. However being generic didn't work, it wouldn't come up with anything for 'New Zealand animals'

Thank you ladies. Kelly, you've guessed it! We're reading Drover's Road and are learning as much as we can about New Zealand and all its inhabitants. We're curious to know how and when New Zealand came to be inhabited by the English and what has happened to their population since, what their involvement in WWI was, shepherding and sheep, horses and horse-training, "hunts", dogs, ... we're going to wear this book out!

Our printer is touchy (probably since our move) and I was frustrated the other day that I couldn't print anything. I didn't know whether that was because the site was somehow locked unless one becomes a member or it was my printer acting strange. But now I know that I can print things. The kids had a blast coloring the pages from Enchanted Learning and National Geographic while I read.
