Hi all.....
This is a short devotion that I put together to use with our small domestic church here to use daily until our new Holy Father is chosen. I wanted to share it with you in case it might be something helpful to someone else.
DEVOTION TO CHOOSE OUR NEW HOLY FATHER
In the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, Amen.
Glory Be to the Father.....
Holy Spirit, we ask that you be with the cardinals as they choose our new Holy Father. May your spirit lead and guide them in following the will of our Heavenly Father, to the one who our Lord has chosen to lead and guide our precious Church in this time. May they fully align their hearts with the will of God in this most awesome, yet difficult task, and find the peace of Christ in choosing the next leader of our Holy Catholic Church. Amen.
Lord God, you are our eternal shepherd and guide. In your mercy grant your Church a shepherd who will walk in your ways and whose watchful care will bring us your blessing. We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.

Mary, Mother of us all, pray for our Church at this time. Pray for the leaders of our Church to elect a holy man of God to be our shepherd. Pray that all of the cardinals entrusted with this enormous responsibility will place their trust in God, and will follow the Holy Spirit’s leading as they choose a new shepherd for our precious Church. May we all feel God’s comfort and peace, as we wait upon Him, and as we put our complete trust in His mercy and love.
Hail Mary…….
Saint Peter, Pray for us.
Jesus, We Trust in You!
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, Amen.

Tracy,
Thank you for this! We will pray it before school starts each day until we have a new pope!
