Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

So I have a son who is making progress yearly which we are happy with. He is 16 in December and we use Math-U-See he is in Zeta. Pre-Algebra and up may not be a good fit for this child. We are ok with this also. But we'd obviously like to keep moving in math but we'd like to go in a more practical math way. So I am wondering what you have used for math besides the basic, algebra I & II, etc? I believe we'll do Stewardship with MUS but I'd like to be able to gear his math toward real life skills, cause this is when he actually 'gets' math, when it makes sense in a day to day way.

Would like to hear what courses, programs etc you have used. I would like to do an accounting with him but don't know of one. Thanks for your suggestions and comments. Also, we live in an area that does not have unlimited internet so things online are not an option for us

Has he done a personal finance course? My teen is going to do Foundations in Personal Finance (from Dave Ramsey) in the fall. We haven't used it yet, but I like Dave Ramsey and I know that personal finance is an important life skill.
