Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

As many of you know, we are in a real tight spot with finances and I really don't want to purchase anything that may prove not to be successful with my kids.I am also trying to keep depression and anxiety manageable.

We need a religion curriculum for my dd-8 and ds-9. They work together, starting 3rd grade this year. This past year we used Seton's Religon 3. It was so nice and meaty. A perfect fit for the kids. I don t really want to move on to Seton 4. I don't think they are ready for that. I could used ideas for this coming year, and keep in mind I don't really have any money to spend on books at the moment

Joann, did you use the Baltimore Catechism along with Seton's religion? They go together beautifully. I could see re-reading Seton's Religion 3 and adding in the Baltimore Catechism. Seton's religion is meaty and it seems like you could use the same text again, but go deeper. Maybe do some research on line about some of the topics or research some saints along with it.
