Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

For Christmas I received an iPad Air. I'm enjoying it, but feel limited by several things...the main one is the lack of a keyboard. I can't do certain things online until I get back to my laptop.

I would like to get a good keyboard for my iPad. I'm not looking for a flimsy plastic/vinyl thing, but something a bit more substantial. I'm not worried about portability but more focused on clean typing.

The reviews I've read rate ZAGGkeys Folio Backlit Keyboard Case for iPad Air as the highest, but I can't really tell how it "feels" compared to a regular keyboard.

I'd love to hear your experiences and advice.

I had a ZaggMate, an earlier model, when the first iPads came out. It is of course smaller than a regular keyboard but felt really nice. It has since broken (not at any fault of the device itself). That model isn't made anymore, but they had it at Best Buy, so perhaps it would be worth going to a store like that to gauge feel.

I don't have time to give a really thorough and detailed review right now, but wanted to drop in a link for you to consider.

We have and have been super pleased with Anker Bluetooth wireless keyboard.

Love:

wireless
durable (all my kids use it every day)
wireless
wireless
wireless

It feels like a full size keyboard and is easy to type on. It's a fully functional keyboard with all the keys and has stood a significant test in our home. Bonus: being wireless and bluetooth, it works with our laptops, phones, and ipad - so it's versatile.

Good luck deciding and if you want more details or have questions let me know and I can come back and try to answer.
