Hi!
I hope it's ok to post this here, but I just had brag a little (please forgive) but Tim (age 9) won 1st place in the Science Fair this weekend! We were so thrilled, not to mention, a little surprised!
I posted an article on this on my blog, but I just have to say, this was such a Real Learning experience! We all learned something from this process and I'm more thrilled for this more than him actually winning.
Here's to Real Learning!!

Congratulations to Tim!
And, if you want to get him really fired up about science projects, consider visiting Albuquerque next May for the International Science and Engineering Fair. We just got back from this year's ISEF in Indianapolis - it's amazing what kind of projects the kids do at that level, and we've heard a lot of stories about kids who were inspired in their own work by visiting ISEF years ago.

Thanks so much for all your kind words. I feel sorta silly posting about the fair, but I was just brimming with excitement!
Thank you all!

Excellent Charlotte!
I love when things spark the kids like this. That's why I homeschool -- so I can be "in on it" when they do things like this. Congratulations!
