Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Could not find a thread on this in archives so...ladies what do your dear children do on the ACT writing--print or cursive. My ds is a decent writer--in regards to content--but his handwriting, both, leaves a lot to be desired. Is the paper lined that they write on? WIsh they could type it in:)

My son has . . . difficult . . . handwriting, shall we say. My husband coached him in printing in all-caps before the ACT, because that was the only way it would be readable. He did score well on the test, though I don't remember the score for his essay -- anyway, I guess they could read it!

I'll have to ask whether the paper is lined or not. I've had two kids take this test thus far, and that's something I haven't come away knowing.

Anyway, I think the bottom line is legible.

Sally

I do not score for ACT, but I do score for other standardized tests. We are taught to ignore penmanship ;) and score on a very specific rubric. We are also taught NOT to take points off for irrelevant info provided, only score if the info we need is there or not.
