Is anyone else in the same boat as me, waiting for The Spectrum Chemistry from Beginnings Publishing? I was very happy to use this for my son for this year but have been waiting a month for my order and am having a difficult time getting information from the company. Hate to have to punt on High School Chemistry a week before school starts but if I need to what would you suggest for something student driven that would be a good prep for the Clep test? I love the living books suggestions discussed in the Chemistry thread but for this son and this year I need student driven/easy on this one! Thanks.

No clue on another program but if you want to wait on that program you could probably get a jumpstart at the khan academy website with their free video on lots of topics especially math and science (actual science class type lectures on chemistry and biology etc).. might let you get started and then only skim those parts when you get the curriculum.
