Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

One of the homeschooling moms in the UK recommended this calendar journal from Simply Charlotte Mason. While I have already purchased my lesson planners for next year, this really appeals to me on several levels. I was wondering if any of you had any experience with this product? What did you think of it especially regarding the inspirational, encouraging, and journaling aspects? Thank you for any opinions you may offer.

I think you linked to the wrong site. I assume you mean this calendar/journal.

I'd like to hear feedback on it, too.

Last year I purchased one, in addition to my Catholic Daily Planner from Family-Centered Press. My thought was to carry it in my purse for jotting notes, appointments and so forth.

For me it was a waste of money. Trying to keep 2 planners going was just too much work. I got an iphone when we moved, so I don't have to write it down because I enter it on the phone. Then I transfer it to my paper planner, which is my actual brain. Had I not gotten the phone, I still would not have used it. Just too messy (and heavy) for me. The articles are nice, but not mind blowing new information by any means.
Back to just my Catholic Woman's Daily Planner this year, and getting a couple Starbucks coffee's instead .
And there really isn't a "jounaling aspect" -
it is just a single blank sheet at the months end that says "Journaling Notes" at the top, and another single blank sheet at the months beginning that is divided into 3 sections, "Gentle Reminders" "Prayer Requests" and "Books I am Reading".

Thank you! The articles are what I wanted to know about. Perhaps I'll just pull out one of my previous books on homeschooling. I know that my dh would be happy that I am not purchasing another book--he thinks that I have too many already!

He even scopes out the old books at flea markets and the

And he really liked the sound of how much money I need for school
