Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Has anyone used this to teach home ec? I'm looking for a program to start in 2nd or there about - I looked at Little Women Hospitality program but its really geared towards older girls.

Has anyone here used the program? Does it work well with Catholic values? It looks like it might be more protestant that we're comfy with, but without actually seeing the books I can't tell.

I have not used the program you are looking at, but I do use Tea and Cake with the Saints and Sewing with St. Anne for my two girls, ages 8 and nearly 11. We began using them last year, and both girls (and I!) really have been enjoying them. They are not a home ec curriculum complete with lesson plans, but each book covers different topics that you can integrate into the homeschooling day, choosing what seems to fit best with what you are wanting to teach, such as hospitality, keeping one's room/belongings in order, sewing skills, cooking skills, gardening, etc. You can view sample pages at CHC's website.
