Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I have used the National Antivivisection Society for years borrowing items like cat, worm, shark models as well as their human anatomy models like the brain and heart. I really like having these wonderful models for the kids without having to buy them (you only pay return shipping!).

Does anyone know of any other place that loans out educational materials? It would be neat to have maybe some early tools & artifacts, fossils, solar system, etc.

The National Gallery of Art will lend out all kinds of art materials.
Thanks for posting about the models- I never knew about them!

Some mineral museums/organizations/associations will give out rock kits to teachers...

Lots of museums have loaner programs for classroom teachers and most will let homeschoolers borrow them as well. We've gotten some really neat stuff that way.

We live in northern WI and there isn't a museum for 6 hours which is why I look for places that will ship the items to you. I will check out the national gallery of art. Thanks!
