Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Anyone have any recommendations for practice for the SAT tests? Just those workbooks you can get at teacher stores?? My son is not a very good test taker, is entering the 10th grade, and I would really like for him to start getting a feel for what he will be up against as far as the SAT test which I hear is much different now anyway. Also, do homeschoolers need to take ACT tests and whatever else the other one is. (too sad, I forgot what it is called.) How do you find out about when/where they need to take this test and what can one do to prepare their teen?

thanks!

I used the workbook published by the College Board, which develops the SAT. (It's the "go to the source" mentality.)

You can have your son take a practice PSAT (sign up now!) as well as an end of sophomore year SAT so he knows what to work on. Most colleges take your highest scores into account for admissions purposes.
