Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

The neat thing I'm seeing with my first attempts at strewing (particularly an eclectic mix of books, cds and videos from the library) -- the older kids and (especially) dh are finding these things and enjoying them so much the younger ones want to "see too".

I brought home one of those huge coffeetable art books with Winslow Homer watercolors (y'know those oboks that you can either only borrow from the library or get as gifts ans they're so darn expensive ). DH found it the other day int he library box and has had it next to the bed and looks at the pictures every night -- he's just a big kid with this

Oh, yea. I had a major strewing success a while back. Left out my copy of Bill Bryson's A Short History of Nearly Everything. My dd(16) picked it up out of sheer boredom and has read it over and over. She is constantly telling me about stuff she's learned from it.
