Anyone use the three hole punched version? If so, what did you put it in, and do you add pages to the planner? Do you have a three hole punch for it?

I used to use the 3-hole one and I loved that I could add whatever pages I needed ... blank sheets for notes ... google-map pages for driving directions ... other pages/printouts from the computer.
I think it's much more usable (for me) to be able to add .... and yes, we have a 3-hole punch and use it all the time for other stuff too....

This is a silly question, but can you use a regular 3 hole punch for the smaller size planner? I would want a size that could fit in a purse/bag and the 8x10 is just too big.

I have a zip up planner from high school with three holes that I am using. I think it is a standard size for three ring dayplanner binders. Our three hole punch is adjustable to the smaller three hole size. You just unscrew and slide (ours is marked for various standard settings) and re-tighten the little punch parts.

Jennifer ... as my children have taught me, there are no SILLY questions. Most 3-ring punches are adjustable so yes you can use the smaller size. I did use the 8x11 one and also the smaller 5x7 sizes. The 5x7 I believe has 5 holes but you can set the punch to do the 3 than reset and do 2 others if needed (altho I had a 5x7 binder that only had 3 rings so I didn't need to reset).
Michele makes her planners to work with any of the daytimer or plan-a-day calendars that are in all the stores ... so I used store-bought dividers, address sheets etc.
Have fun and blessings for a great Advent!

The year I bought the 3 hole punched version, I used it in my regular franklin planner binder - just a couple months at a timewas the plan, very streamlined. I thought it would be really handy - but I lost the rest of the year!!!
I had to buy another planner. And, it never did turn up. Wierd ey?
I purchase only the spiral bound ones now. I just glue tape or staple my extra stuff in it. I frequently use the menu planning and lesson planner pages for this purpose. By the end of the year it is pretty fat and funny looking. But, I don't care. I LOVE this planner. I have purchsed it every single year.
I don't carry my planner in my purse, and when I need to take it with me for something, I usually have a tote with other stuff too - so it is not an issue for me to have the big 'un. Hubby calls me the bag lady
Works for me...........
