Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Molly has asked about CLAA and it has me thinking in relation to my own children; what else is out there? I'm thinking of an online program for highschoolers where the children are answerable to someone else.

Has anyone researched what's available, what each provider offers, what the costs are. Gee just a simple spreadsheet is all you need to answer me.

Well, I did do a bit of research for my ds who is now graduated.

I ended up going with Keystone online high school. Problem is, my son flat out refused to do it. He finished the math and didn't get much past it. It is really just high school online. Fairly easy and straightforward.

The thing that really bugged me, though, was that I never heard from the teachers until my son's year was almost up and I suddenly started getting emails saying they missed him and did he need any help finishing the course. This was eight months after he had stopped turning in work! So, not quite the personalized education they promise.

A couple other similar programs didn't seem as reputable.
