Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

So how many workboxes for each child?

I have a fifth grader (yikes! How can that be?) and an 8 year old with learning delays.

Or rather I will as of next school year.

My fifth grader will have 12 workboxes. My 3rd grader will start with 10 and build to 12. My K'er with start with 6 and build to 8 or 9.
Last year my dd had 12 boxes and did just fine. As a matter of fact, she is so efficient in getting her work done with this system, I could have given her more if I wanted to. She really thrives on a system like this.
My ds, who is 8, has ADHD and really struggles with reading and writing. Last year he did 12 boxes but I made sure to incorporate lots of fun, get-up-and-move stuff. We will do the same thing this year.

I think you will have to play around with the number to find what works for your kids. I use 10 boxes with all of my kids, even the fifth grader, and this works very well for us.

I am pretty sure I've figured it out. It looks like with my older there will be less refilling as a lot of his bags are just things that he continues.

With my younger boy (the seven year old) I will have a bunch of bags, but I'm doing a lot of therapy type stuff with him and games. Each activity will have its own bag.

I think this may work for us.
