Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

For those of you who do workboxes, how do you handle a project that many/all the kids will be working on. For instance, a math game that two can do together, or something that they'll both do individually, but at different times?

TIA!

I would just write an instruction card and put it in the workbox

For instance, "play this game with your brother for 20 minutes."

Now, when I do cards like that i have to put them in first...or else they won't get to them at the same time.

If you want it done at different times, put the cards in various spots in each child's workboxes. For one child put it in the 1/2nd box. For the other child put it in the 7th box, etc.

Is that what you are asking or am I totally not answering your question??

I used an idea I read about in Sue's book, tweaked a bit for us. Each of my kids had a popsicle stick with a picture of their face glued to the top. When they got to a workbox that had a game or other group project, they would put their popsicle stick into a ball of clay that sat on the corner of one of our school tables. Then they would go on to the next box. When a sibling got to their box that said "game" (or whatever) they would check the ball of clay to see if anyone else was waiting.
Does that make sense?
I tried to do as Candace suggests by timing it closely, but there were times when it didn't work out. Knowing they were to go on with their boxes until someone else was ready kept chaos at a minimum.

Sounds like good ideas-- I think I just have to jump back in and keep "tweaking!"
