Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Am I understanding this correctly? If we completely enroll, then all the syllabi/course plans are included in the cost of registration? But if we enroll in single courses, then we pay the single course fee and also then buy the course plan separately? Is this correct?

Thanks!

yes. exactly.

when enrolling in individual courses, you purchase the plans and you purchase the registration for that course and the books for it all separately

Thank you, Martha. That really makes the full enrollment worth it when you're considering several courses, huh?!

yes and no.
the books are still separate expense and you might not use some of the course plans. (for example, I have no use for the math course plans which basicly say to do the next page until you are done)

I think it's worth it if:
you are ordering the elementary or junior high literature plans and or
history, science, literature plans

These are on my list. Thanks for your help. BTW, have you receive a 09-10 catalog in the mail? I requested one weeks and weeks ago and still have not received it. I know they have it in PDF on the website but I do so much better when paper in hand.

Me,too! Actually, I have been waiting for a catalog since last fall. I was told they were putting it in PDF--then in print,to be mailed out. I feel like a dc waiting for the ice cream truck, when I see the mail truck! This day? Nope. Next day..running out to my box, again.

You're not alone!!

I just got the new catalog last week, but I've been on their mailing list for a few years and have ordered previously.

Either way, you shoudl be getting it soon. If you don't get it by the end of this week, I'd call and request again. just to be sure.

I'm so glad to hear I'm not the only one! I've requested the print catalog TWICE now and have received nothing. I was beginning to become a bit dismayed with them as a business. I'll continue to stalk my mailman this week.

Take this for what it's worth and I hope it doesn't sound tacky but I just registered with Kolbe and received the lesson plans...and...well...I was a bit disappointed by the look of them. They just aren't "purdy."
They are similar in format to Sonlight's plans, but they are weak in ink quality - and this is coming from someone who ALWAYS prints on fast mode. I thought about copying them onto better quality paper like the MODG syllabi, but I think the best solution for several reasons is to transcribe them into a lesson plan book, pull out my fine point sharpies and liven things up a bit.
This is SUCH A SMALL ISSUE in the scheme of things - just thought I'd pass it along.
