of our 9 year old little boy! He was watching a DVD with his Daddy while I was reading in bed. Someone on the show said, "You sound just like my mom, WHO I love." Immediately, he said, "It's not WHO, it's WHOM." So I asked him to say that again, and he said the same thing. Then I asked him where he had learned about "whom", since I haven't taught him about it yet, and he told me he has been reading a lot of books lately and they always say "whom."
He just read "The Whipping Boy" in one day. He's read 3 pretty big books since Friday. I'm so proud of him!
I was just telling a friend that the boys haven't done much school lately because they've been reading all morning long, so I've been focusing on the older ones.

I LOVE moments like that! That's when you say "It's actually working!!!" And then you can add a "ha!" on for good measure if you want.
