Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Has anyone read the book What About College by Caffi Cohen? Is it worth reading?

Thanks!

I have it. It is good; especially good for those who don't enroll with a school. It explains how to do a trascript and a portfolio and is really helpful for the relaxed/unschooly type.

The author has a web-site Home school Teens College. net which should have updated info ... here's a link to an interview with her on a Christian home school site.

I liked the book alot ... another one you might want to check out is CHC's High School of Your Dreams -- it also has lots of info if you're not registered with Clonlara or someone.

I liked the book - a lot of it didn't apply to me in Australia but the "build your own curriculum" bit was good. I liked the tips and philosophy.
