Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

So here's my "ideal"
OK, the price is prohibitive but it's soooo cool!
perfect easel

I'm on the hunt for a magnetic easel for my 6 and 8 yr olds. So many of them are toddler size and too short. It has to be sturdy since I have a 2 yr old to challenge it's center of gravity LOL

My main uses for it are painting/drawing, magnetic board, and flannel board (can clip my flannel boards to it).
I don't have to have the chalk board but it would be a plus.
Any suggestions are welcome-"reasonably" priced please (less than $100)
thanks!

I got this easel when my boys were 5, 3 and infant...fast forward two years later and it's still in pefect shape (minus the crayon to the dry erase board). I would consider this easel to be very durable and able to endure alot. I don't know for sure if it's magnetic..I will check later.

Also...I have seen this same easel at AC Moore and Hobby Lobby for $120. I am sure you can use your 40-50%off coupons!!!!

I had an easel very much like Betsy's easel. I purchased it at Walmart when my ds was a 2 yo (he is 14 1/2 now). I loved the easel and had it for years, but finally parted with it last year--I gave it to a new 2nd grade teacher for her classroom.

I have seen simular easels at Hobby Lobby, but I have not priced them.

I have Melissa and Doug's easel which doesn't meet all your qualifications, but it's adjustable in height. I can raise the blackboard and whiteboard as my son gets older. I got it locally from this shop, but it runs about $50 and is very sturdy.

silly question considering my house but do you have any clear wall space?

we have turned wall space into an easal in the past by mounting free balloon pins on the wall(over a tile floor ).

a magnetic/chalkboard combo would be cheaper than some fancy easels

This one is on sale this week and I almost bought it until I realized it was not magnetic, which is necessary for me. But it does look nice!

I actually bought a magnetic wipe board to hang on the wall but the only space it would fit well was a place we don't do our studies and my DH did not want to hang something so heavy on the wall anyway-he has wall hole phobia

I'm off to do some thrift store shopping and maybe I'll get lucky-I've seen easels lots of times but never really needed one until now.

Could you just paint magnetic paint on the cheaper easel?
