Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I am having a hard time finding a thread on school schedules--specifically looking for anyone using MA and how they implement it. New baby (#6)coming this winter, makes me want to start thinking about the school schedule..and the laundry, cooking and cleaning schedules!

What age/level are you looking for? I for one used two levels last year and I know several others who are also using it and have their own schedules!! Let us know and we'll try and help out here!

Michele is traveling this weekend but I know she'll pipe in when she gets back unless Kathryn gets to it first!

Laura, there are a few sample schedules in the Files section of the MA email group. I'm not sure whether or not you have to be a member of the group to access them.

Kathryn,

Thank you for posting the link to the MA files! I'm in the yahoo group, but have never been to the files before. I have a level 1 and a level 3 student and needed some ideas for scheduling.

I think I will be using 1a and 2 loosely next year. Thank you for the yahoo group link I will need to join but will enjoy looking at those files. I will also be doing first grade but he will just focus on short lessons in reading/math/religion for him. My CM type schedule worked pretty well this year--handwriting/LA/Poetry/Root cards/Math/Religion in morning. Then we did family history a few afternoons a week, science one afternoon, art another afternon, and writing on Friday's (Writing Strands Level 2). I am switching over to IEW for my 5th/6thds (August b-day so not quite ready for 6th grade) next year and will do some of that with my 8 year old daughter as she is ready. Just trying to plan ahead and still make time for the little ones. I always like to see what is working for other families so thank you for the responses!
