Feel free to move this... wasn't sure of the best place to post
I have yet to purchase from them, but In the Hands of a Child?
is offering 50% off all ebooks of their lapbook projects (until April 18).
I thought someone might find the info useful
I'm thinking of ordering a few things but I wanted to ask for some suggestions (both things you like and things you may have been disappointed with...if there were any)
So, do you have a favorite lapbook project?
My kids are preK and 1st grade but I can also take a project and work it at their level if its meant for older students.
I've heard some good things.. like this post about their St. Patrick lapbook.
What else is worth having?
Thanks for sharing you experience and favorites.
(and happy shopping )
Erica

I started a Curious George lapbook yesterday from In The Hands of a Child. I think it is great and my dd5 and ds7 are really enjoying it. I put pictures of what we have done so far on my blog the last two days.
I am going right now to check out the sale.

I don't see anything on the site about the sale. Did I miss it or will it show up at checkout?

I know time is short...
but does anyone have any absolute favorites or "must-haves" from this site? I have yet to do a lapbook, and I shouldn't be spending any money , so I had better spend wisely!

Molly
I got my dc involved and they told me what sounded enjoyable to them. Then I had to quarter the order They tended to pick science packs, which was good as that is an area they enjoy and we have little resources on. Also when eleminating ebooks I also took into account which books would cover the largest amount of children. Therefore most of my ebooks cover 2nd-8th grade with some only to the 6th. I then purchased a couple of extra for my Kindergartener which would also cover her brother, the PreK-3rd level.
In the end I chose:
Egyptian Pyramids, 3-8th.
Electricity, 3grade+
Volcanoes, 2-6th
Extreme Weather, 2-6th
Butterflies, PreK-3rd
Blueberries for Sal. PreK-3rd
Ice Age 2-8th
Rainforest Habitats, 3-8th.
I have never used any of HOAC's products so I hope the dc like them
If money is tight why don't you buy a couple of the $6 ones and start there?

Hi, ladies,
Once we have a chance to play with our project packs - I'll try to report back... feel free to do the same, I'd love to hear your opinions.
Then next time I'll know what I just "have to have".
Thanks!
Erica
