I finally have one!!!! My dh just set up a blog and website through IMac. I don't know how to make it as frilly as some of yours, but I'm so thankful for a place to work out my thoughts and at least inspire myself to all I want to be and do. Please come visit! Here it is:

I don't know why but every time I try to post my blog address, the end of the address should read /Blog.html NOT /b log.html
I'm sorry I can't figure out how to fix it for the post!! I'll keep working on it.

Ana-
The forum code prevents anyone from typing one long, continuous, unbroken string of characters because that would mess up the HTML layout of the page. So when someone posts a long string of unbroken characters, the site will automatically insert a space every X number of characters along.
However, if you use the [ url ] tags to hide the URL behind a link name (as I did in correcting your original post above), it is possible to work around this.

Well, I had to change the "theme" on my blog because the words kept disappearing. This one is a lot more "plain" but at least it has a nice picture on the top. 
I am in the process of figuring out how to add Flikr photos too. 
I am wondering if there is something wrong with the "comment" section though because I have had a lot of visitors (thank you to Helen from Castle of the Immaculate and Dawn at By Sun and Candlelight for hosting the carnivals!) but I haven't received any comments at all. So either my stuff is really boring or there is something wrong with the comment button.

Your stuff isn't boring at all!
I tied to leave a comment, but it said "You must log in to leave a comment" and then it would not recognize my login name or password, not sure why. Try looking at your comment settings and see if you are allowing comments.

I have a blogger blog and I don't know how to upload the webring thing.
And...
in my technical lameness, I don't know how you all get your blogs to links in your signatures here on the forums.
Could it really be as easy as editing a message with a hyperlink? Not that I really know what I'm talking about I just like sounding like I could be on Star Trek.

Put this in your sig.

It should make it a link. Just make sure there are no spaces in the < > sections except the one after the <a.

Hi, Ladies,
I am usually a quiet gleaner of the forum and your blogs :-), but I have finally tried my hand at blogging. It is a wonderful way to put some ideas down on virtual paper, share experiences and meet people at the same time. Compared to the lovely blogs on this forum mine is small and simple, but it's mine - and Blogger is free. I am still learning and I hope it will become much better in time - if I ever find more of that elusive element.

Thanks, Lissa, I did it...but somehow, I got it to list twice and when I go back in the code I only see it once.
Oh, well, I'll have to figure it out later.

Ok I did one--
now I'll try to post the link,
learning all the time here!
It's called "one wild and precious life" (after a quote from a favorite poem by Mary Oliver). I plan for this to be a record of our homeschool, plus homeschool related reflections, plus notes on a few books I'm reading just for myself because I love books, and talking and writing about books . And, it's partly for my own accountability, as I haven't been keeping any kind of record whatsoever of what we do!!
I'd really like to do another blog later, non-school related, about faith and including some poetry I've written--one thing at a time however!

PS how do I put the 4 real blogs on my blog roll? I think maybe I saw a tutorial for such things somewhere, sometime, but I'm not sure how to find it again? I love to write, but this techie-stuff is . . . !
