Let me see if I can walk you through this. I just did it myself so it should be fresh in my mind!
Ok, in the signature section of your profile, click on "forum codes". Copy the code for "my web" and then type the name of your website in there. I think that's it. Let me know if it works!

I just wanted to say that I started a blog
The Last Place
I'm not sure how often I'll get to it, but I'm hoping it will help keep all the different ideas I have in one place. I love going to so many of your homes on the web and this is just my small spot.
I have a question if you have a picture on your computer or camera, how do you get it onto the blog post?

I have Typepad, and there is an actual "insert image" icon above the text-entry box when I am preparing a post.
Not sure how your blog software works.

We have the same icon -- I think it is very similar. It wants a link or a path of some kind, but I'm not sure what to do. If it is not on the web already how do I cut and paste?

Are you sure it wants a link? Usually it is just looking for the path tho wherever the image is on your computer.
The other thing I have with Typepad is the ability to have my picture on the sidebar -- and that is directly uploaded to their file server. Try looking on the preference page of your blog.

Just peeked at your blog. I loved the story of St. Paula - particularly this quote:
"He [St. Jerome] wrote that she had the right to mourn the loss of her husband and daughter; nevertheless, she ought to realize that they had entered a realm of greater happiness than this world can offer."
This was how we felt when we lost our stillborn baby daughter Mary. We mourned for us but not for her. What happiness she is enjoying!!!

Wow Ladies,
So many new blogs and so little time! I love each of your blogs and have tried to keep up my visits. I'm awed at all the talent pouring forth from this group. One could develop a complex!
Seriously, I thank each of you for sharing your heart through the blogosphere. Many times I feel like I have been on a mini-retreat after a blog visit, or I get a good chuckle from a shared anecdote and know I'm not facing the same challenges alone.

Yes, as Paula said, it might just want you to find the image on your hard drive, and your blog application will upload the image to a photo storage component of the blog. (On Typepad blogs, this is the Files section of the Control Panel.)
If that doesn't work, I think you can upload images to Photobucket.com and use the URL you'll be given for each image there.

OK. I've looked at some of your blogs who reference my OLD blog, which hasn't been touched in at least a month. Please refer to my NEW BLOG for updated posts (not every day, but I'm proud of myself for what I'm able to do with 7 kids 12 and under). Besides which, there is some news I really, REALLY want to share there.
Also, what is tagging? And how do I get booklists and lists of all your wonderful blogs onto my blog so that I can quickly refer to them from there instead of having to wade through 4Reallearning posts to find you!?!? And what is a blogroll? I don't think I have one ...

A blogroll is a list of links to blogs. Sounds like that's just what you're wanting to put in your sidebar. I can email you a file to import into a Typelist, but my blogroll is months out of date. Anyone got a more recent one?
Tina, to put booklists in your sidebar, create a Reading Typelist and start entering titles.
