Bumping this thread if anyone else would like to spend the next month in renewing/making a consecration to the Blessed Virgin Mary.
Beginning on July 13th ends with the renewal/making consecration on the Feast of the Assumption.

Hello again!
Bumping this thread in case anyone else is like me and likes to take the summer months to re energize with the Blessed Virgin Mary. Tomorrow is the first day 33 days of preparing for Consecration to Mary (or renewal). If you start tomorrow Consecration day is the Feast of the Assumption.
I've been reading 33 Days to Morning Glory this week. I'm reading it all at once. It has helped me get ready and look forward to diving in tomorrow with the prayers set out at the Age of Mary website:

Oh, thank you, Helen! I would have missed the first day without your reminder! I find the summer months the best ones to renew my consecration to our Lady. Things are a bit slower and I have time to incorporate the extra reading/prayers more easily than at the other times of the year.

I'm very nervous and excited....

PS- Thanks for sharing that Age of Mary link, Helen. Of all the reading I've done online the last few weeks about this, that's the nicest, cleanest, easiest-to-use and most to-the-point site I've seen yet.

That is exciting news Jennifer! It is a special grace to want to say these prayers. I would really enjoy your company (and Caroline's) during this summer saying the Consecration prayers.
I had my retina tear in October of last year and my eyesight in my left eye still gives me trouble. I become easily frustrated with the printed word. I think it will help me to persevere if we do this together. Thank you.

Yes, me too. I've not been disciplined in much of anything lately, so I know this discipline to renew my spiritual life would be the best thing for me. I do think I will need the prayer and support of friends to make it through, though!

I think I'll join you all as I always miss the starting day by a week and then debate using a different schedule. I've never completed a consecration and just a few weeks ago bought 33 days to Morning Glory. I've read the intro but now I'll dive in to the daily readings, and perhaps add the Age of Mary readings/prayers or the original Louis de Montfort Total Consecration prescriptions. Thanks for the reminder! I really need to finally complete this!
