I have been thinking about Michael and wondering what was happening on the college front- CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! You both did super, Michael for working hard and learning, you for teaching so well!, and both of you for getting that information together so quickly, to make what sounds like a very impressive portfolio! All this with your new babe and the holidays! Outstanding!

Having read one of Michael's essays that you linked to on your blog, I am not at all surprised that he was accepted and offered a scholarship! Michael is a very bright, articulate young man! I know I don't need to tell you this, but you have every right to be proud of him!

Oh Congrats! to the whole Foss family -- and he wouldn't be so far from home and it's a wonderful CATHOLIC school and .... just YEAY!!!!!!!
We have a good friend who went there and played rugby and loved it!
