Oh, happy news! And it's not even very far away!
I showed the website to my oldest. He said, "But do they have a football team?" (Guess I better boost those academic and leadership skills or we'll be stuck looking for football schools.) I am not surprised that a Foss got a scholarship for those areas, not a bit.

It's a beautiful campus and area. We end up there (at the wonderful campus athletic center) each year for an Irish dance feis and always enjoy visiting the Seton shrine nearby.

Great news Elizabeth! I know you've been busy with portfolio stuff and he's been busy with essays, but if it slows down a little would you please share what that really looks like?
I am so clueless about college. My oldest ds received a 4yr full scholarship through the police dept. My 2nd ds graduated with a diploma from a Catholic umbrella school then elected not to pursue college. So I'm coming up on #3 and she probably will do a few courses at Community College but doesn't feel she needs to pursue a degree. Now #4 really wants to go to college and I still don't know what to do  I'd love to see what a portfolio is and obviously you've done a great job

I was also caught by the significance of this as soon as I clicked on the website - location of the National Shrine Grotto of Lourdes. And though you found out yesterday, we're all finding out about it on her feast. So cool!

Gwen, I hesitate to put it all up here just to protect his privacy. Someday, he won't care but right now it's probably not a great idea. The whole process will be over by the time I get to Denver though, so perhaps I will tuck this portfolio copy in with the other "notebooks."
