   I just discovered that Bright Minds has a workbook on this very subject of mind maps, graphic organizers etc., entitled "Organizing Thinking" (I think that's the title). I looked at it and thought it would be useful for my slightly spacey older ds. Some of it looked too convoluted, but other parts were attractive.

   I DID think that the lower level one, billed as being for 2nd to 6th grade, was QUITE advanced. I had to study it for a while to "get it" (tho that is often the case with some of the Bright Minds material, love it, but it can demand attention to detail!). Maybe I'm just remedial, but I would not start any highschooler straight out in the upper level book---think this is definitely a case of needing to work ones way up in the series.
