Hi Cindy,

I agree it works differently depending on the child,(I like the way you phrased it "on the canvas of each child's given personality" :-) My 15 yo is like that. He draws all over his lesson pages. That's fine as long as he gets done what he needs to. He has a schedule that he follows (made up by his Dad) so he is on a time frame but he can structure that however it best works for him.

Another thing we have done is schedule 5 and 10 minute breaks in the children's lesson schedules. It keeps them from feeling overwhelmed and allows for smoother transitions from subject to subject. We have been doing this consistently this year and it's working really well.

I love your line of icons at on your tag line. Does each one represent that child's personality, or are they just random?

Looking forward to hearing more from you.. especially on the pure CM board. I hope to post some cm quotes on attention. I thought about taking this discussion to a new topic and discuss attention ala cm.. how does that sound? Pleas post any quotes and thoughts Michelle and everyone...

Yes actually they do. Well, as much as an icon can.

Well you know if it's CM I'd surely have something to say.

I wasn't planning on posting much here. . .don't know what I was thinking on that! LOL!
