Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Six, including the PK-er. However, big kids do a lot of online work, plus 16yo is dual enrolled. Younger kids do most everything together except Math and Latin.

Six children:
the ninth grader is my little sister who is living with us at present, this is a different situation altogether.
a seventh grader, 5th, 3rd, 1st and pre-schooler.

We do alot of work together, although maths is separate and the 9th and 7th grader do some work individually.

Some days the pre-schooler doesn't join in.

We are schooling 5 plus a pre-schooler, but I hardly count her as time "in school". I am pretty loose until 2-3rd grade.

1.ds (grade 11)
2.ds (grade 8/9 - we're not sure
3.dd (grade 6)
4.dd (grade 3)
5.dd (grade 1)

If you are counting time, I am still very much on call for my oldest who is attending college locally. No, I don't help him with his "schoolwork", but just about everything else Some days I am ready to REALLY graduate him.

Time-wise, my second son and middle daughter take a major part of my time, since they have developmental issues.
Blessings,
Stephanie

3.5yo wildman doing pweeeeschooow and beautiful baby distracting us. Seems most of my time right now though is going toward the 17 yo senior in public school - college info, fincancial aid info, ACT, SAT, college visits, pushing him to study, lines, lines and me seeming to care more than him about it all! YIKES!

Theresia-wishing this morning she had a maid   sigh One more cup of coffee and then......

Thank you amazing, wonderful, excellent, self-sacrificing mothers for writing and sharing your family dynamic. Seeing all of the names makes me think what a big *family* we are. I feel like I'm a little more connected. It's awesome, isn't it, when you actually write it out, to consider what we are doing?

Homeschool all four

oldest son is in 7th grade
oldest daughter is in 5th
second daughter is in 2nd
youngest son is in 1st

However, I try to teach the older two together w/ science, nature study, history and Latin

Same w/ the younger two...I try and teach as much as I can together. So I consider I have two "sets" to teach.

4 school age students:

1st grade
3rd grade
5th grade
7th grade

My 7th grader works independently much of the time. My 3yo likes to do schoolish things at times.
