Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Thanks for explaining del.icio.us Lissa! I'd heard of it but didn't have a clue what it was for. I've signed up now and it's great! Now I can finally get my bookmarks list to a manageable level instead of cluttering it up with sites that I want to check into later when I have more computer time

And thanks for all your help regarding blogging! It is so nice of you to contribute your time for us so freely and willingly.

You can also make it possible for folks who read your blog entries to add them to their del.icio.us accounts by adding a feed flare. Get one through Feedburnerhttp://www.feedburner.com/fb/a/publishers/feedflare

I notice Lissa uses them, and so do I!

I put a "post to del.icio.us" link in my browser's toolbar so I can add a site to my bookmarks with one click. There are instructions for how to do this on the del.icio.us site. LOL, I can never remember where those darn periods go!

Hi, gang! I have finally found a minute to update the Real Learning Blogroll. If you have a blog, would you mind checking to make sure I've got it there (and with the correct link)? Thanks!

If I'm missing anyone, my apologies--just drop me a note! I went through all the Blogroll posts but it's entirely possible I missed something.

This blogroll is available for importing as an OMPL file if you'd like to add it to your own sidebar. Again, just give me a holler.

Also, I've updated the Webring again. There are still several blogs in the queue awaiting code. I think I've emailed it to everyone; if you need help adding the HTML to your blog just let me know.

Don't know where I was when this got posted, but I just realized my site isn't in the blogroll. http://familyfeastandferia.blogspirit.com/

I've had a blog in the past, but it's been "dormant" for a half a year. Right now the girls and I are in process of creating our own web page, with a new blog on it....that one I'd like included and will send you the info as soon as I have it....I'll definitely want to put this group on my blogroll!! In case you need something for now, my "hibernating" blog is
"The Dizzy Disciple"....URL is below:

I am very hesitant to share my simple blog with all of you. I really decided to have one just to learn better how to use the computer and thought this would be a fun way. My husband and I are older than most of you and when we were in college, they were just beginning to use the computer in a very limited way in our classes. So in an attempt to be able to teach my girls how to use the computer, I knew I must learn myself! So, here is my humble attempt: www.tomargaret.typepad.com

Is anyone but me on homeschoolblogger.com after we read their mission statement? I remember someone saying they were going to stay on, and post what they wanted anyway, so others will see our Faith, etc. I tried to unsubscribe, but they never emailed back, so mine was inactive for quite some time, now I posted twice in the last month. Not sure if I should stay with it or not.

Just wondering what the status of the homeschoolblogger.com users is.

I emailed them a while back (I think right after we talked about the SOF) and asked them to delete my account. They did so, within about 30 minutes so I didn't even have time to tell people!

My first one is!!:
how do I highlight a link so that by clicking it, it takes you to the page? I can do that on my blog, but not here? I know that sounds so elementary (my son, bless him, was so patient, but now is in college , so I am trying to figure this out on my own )
thanks

OK, I'm in the dark about this. What mission statement? I looked on the home page for HSB and couldn't for the life of me find a mission statement. I have an account but only occasionally post something. What's the deal?

Margaret, there is a "link" button (world with a chain link in front of it) in the Post Reply window that will help makke the link clickable. Check the FAQ thread in the Help Forum for more specifics and the answers to many other questions. PM me if the directions there don't make sense.

BTW, I love your blog!

Hi! My blog is www.onemoretracy.blogspot.com

I am new to the real learning community so I don't know if my blog qualifies as a real learning blog. I am starting to blog about our homeschooling activities though.

Could I have some help? I've applied to join the Webring and been sent a site ID but I don't know where to put it on my blog.!! Also not sure if I'm on the blogroll. My blog is written by a very non-computer savy introvert who is slowly extending the parameters of her comfort zone!

Does anyone know how to import/export? a blogroll to a blogger account? It appears to be easy with Typepad, but there are no instructions on Blogger help.

After much thought and consideration, I’ve decided that I need to quit blogging. In fact, I need to quit the internet altogether for a while. It has become too large a distraction for me and is taking me away from the things that I should be paying more attention to. I know myself well enough to know that reducing my time online is not going to work. I will need to quit cold turkey and stay offline for a while.

As a result, I’ve decided to delete my blog as well. Though the chances are remote, I don’t want to run the risk of having it's contents online beyond my control. So I will be deleting my blog in two weeks on November 4.

Just thought I'd mention it here in case anyone wanted any links or anything else from it...
