Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I can't even remember who started this thread on lapbooking, but I want to thank you. We've had a lot of fun lap-booking the Rain Forest unit study we did (inspired on this very message board), then Dinosaurs. My children love perusing their lap-books and are so proud of them! Long after we finished the Rain Forest unit, months, in fact, some of my kids saw a sloth and insisted I take pictures of it with them standing next to it to retro-fit into their Rain Forest lapbooks. Likewise, visits to a dinosaur museum, long after the Dino Unit, resulted in several additions to the lapbooks. Our lapbooks are getting so fat with extensions that I finally had to hot-glue velcro straps onto the fronts to hold them together!

Rabbit-trailing and unschooling at its best!

Thanks from Kelly in FL (who,BTW,is NOT a craft-oriented person!)

Kelly,
That's so great to hear! I'm so glad you're enjoying your adventure!!!

If there's a subject that your kids want to persue longer, and delve more deeply into, you could do notebooking for those instead! How fun, how fun learning can be!!!
