Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

We are doing full day school on Monday and Tuesday (some end of unit testing on Tues). Wednesday is an independent day where they will be finishing up and projects/reports and then baking/cooking/cleaning (practical life) the rest of the day. I had planned on doing a full day on Wed as I did when I went to school; but, here too ps is off and I have been hearing sooo much about all the days ps has off lately and we don't that I am caving. It stinks because I too was planning on doing fun stuff like games, crafts, and reading together.

We'll be doing lessons on Mon, Tues & Wed; Thursday we'll be with family and then Friday I'll be shopping & then having a lunch date & movie with my hubby

Generally, we school year-round and don't take extended breaks. I agree w/ the PP that said that idle time leads to more arguments. I've often thought of schooling on Saturdays too for that reason
