I know this is an old post but...

I keep a white board with a list of the books I have and their due dates. I also start the list with one heading that takes the earliest due date and says due by [insert date]. as we finish books we move it to the return by list and put it in the bag underneath the whiteboard. Sounds confusing but right now my current whiteboard looks like this:

Due by 11/10:
.....
.....
....
....


after several spaces I begin my book list. Currently I am in due dates of 11/12. As soon as I finish I transfer the title and book over. I have one for dd too though I handle hers since she is a younger.
